I know someone who is from Mira Loma in NW Riverside County and he's seen snow flurries about every other year, on average.

I even saw a couple light snow flakes in 1989 at 1200 ft. elevation in the border area between what was Trabuco Canyon and Rancho Santa Margarita (now one and the same); just off of Plano Trabuco Road.

It may just be a natural thing because at that time temps were very cold in the clouds which just caused snow...I HOPE at least. Global Warming is a scary thing. I dont want out beautiful California to change
