I'm a native and I've just got to get back. I love the sunshine and warm weather. I love the diverse culture. I love the diverse food. I haven't had a good meal since I've left. I love walking out into the bright light that almost knocks you down.

Everything about California is just so appealing. The climate, weather, beaches, scenery, people and the vibrant yet laid-back lifestyle. California represents the American Dream. There is no other place in the United States that I love more.

If you remove Death Valley, then I agree with the experience! LA is OK to visit, but would never make it on my best places to live! San Diego, SF and Tahoe are three of the most beautiful places in California!

The laid back lifestyle is no longer found in California's largest cities. That is just plain obvious. Maybe you live in a small or mid-sized town. It still exists there. Weather is very nice if you live within 30 miles of the coast generally speaking. It sure beats lots of other places. Representing the American Dream? That is hard to say. We really have to improve K-12 education. A good portion of the younger generation is struggling here with our cost of living and jobs that do not pay what they used to pay. Even those with better paying jobs struggle to buy a home. I will probably not leave, but it is mainly because of family and some friends in the area and I really like the weather and easy access to the coast where I live.

CA Rocks! Especially when you can go for a walk on the beach in the middle of winter when half of the country is covered in snow..

I'm born and raised in LA and never want to leave this place. I love it so much and no other place compares. I've lived here all my life and there is still so much I haven't done.

I look forward to my vacation time starting tomorrow, I'm going to hop on the metro train and explore the city once again.
