Hi all! I am an international student that would probably start my master degree program in CA in the coming fall. At first I think it is an ideal place for education because there are quite a number of good schools that I might be possible to get into on of them for PhD if I do well in my MSc and thesis paper. However, I have seen many discouraging opinions about this state. In your opinion, is CA is good place for education? I have been making many wrong decisions in my life so I don't want to make a wrong move again. Thank You.

P.S. My major is computer science.

You sound like a perfect-match for the Bay Area. Educated people+ multinational cultures +Hi-tech companies+world class universities=perfect.

You will probably want to attend a school as close to Silicon Valley as possible-so that you can get connections before you get you masters. Stanford, UC Berkeley, Santa Clara Univ., and SJSU...are some of the schools up there(I'm not sure which have computer science degrees)

I know it may not be the right place to ask. But I really want to know if it is possible for graduates in CSUs, which are schools that I am going to, to get into graduate school of UCs, which are my target after my master degree? Anyone could kindly share his experience?
