The LA Times had a sad/funny/scarey/hilarious article this morning about voters. Apparently, some voters are having trouble figuring out whether a "YES" or "NO" vote supports their desired position. This is happening to folks on both sides of the issue. And considering how much energy and emotion people are putting into this election, you'd think people would know which way to vote.

Please, if you vote, READ AND UNDERSTAND THE BALLOT BEFORE YOU MARK YES OR NO.

This thread isn't about any particular prop--just a reminder for folks to pay attention to what the meaning of "YES" and "NO" votes are.
I don't really care how you vote, just make sure you know what a YES or NO vote means when you punch/fill in/touch/mark/click/forge any of the items on the ballot.

The article can be found at the LA Times on the California section.

It's embaressing enough to be a Californian without stuff like this.

I remember a teacher telling us about a poll helper and his method of helping people vote. He was a Democrat and the person he was helping because the person could not read was a Republican. He mentioned the candidates and asked the voter to tell him which one the voter preferred. So he said, "Well, you don't like this fellow, so let's cross him out." All the way down the ballot they did this.

So I guess voter fraud has been going on through generations.

The teacher was explaining to us the importance of education. An educated person can be a little harder to fool. So what is wrong with these Obama voters? LOL

yeah, but at least this poor victim had an excuse. Someone was lying to him. What about all the folks in this article who just plain can't read?

I hope that the folks taking the time and effort to commit fraud are at least creating votes for the right side! I'd be really mad if I took the time to commit voter fraud and I ended up helping the wrong side!

My friend and I were having the same discussion. It is a tad confusing on what yes means and what no means, in regards to these props.
All I can say is you definitely have to pay close attention.
But, I can tell you I am counting the hours until this is all over.
At this point, I'm SO over it.
If I have to hear another "Taxin Jackson Ad", I think I'm going to scream......UGH.....
What about you guys?!!
