I don't like the idea that the council doesn't have to report to anyone. It could turn very corrupt very quickly. But it's not a big one that I'm super concerned about, I'd just prefer if it failed, you know?

fair enough. current method doesnt really answer to anyone either though, since nearly every district is rigged one way or another

Actually, your marriage will only be valid and give you the same rights as straight people if you live in the state of Massachusetts Also, you have to live there for two years to even qualify. It's so messed up...
