Why do you think his doubled when yours didnt ? maybe his car is worth more even though its 2 yrs older then yours. Your increase of $15.00 is still too damn much. The ca dmv/legislature are thieving dirt bags with feces.

I don't know. I have to admit, I am curious. Part of it is that I live in a county where I was already paying an extra $5 per year. Maybe another part had to do with differences in the original vehicle purchase price, but that's nowhere near explaining the difference.

We are still paying less than other states. It was only the yearly tax that increased, other states include it in the property tax.

All of these citizens who despise the state's legislature and governor need to get out and vote.

~Mike (voted against the Davis recall but that's water under the bridge now...)

I understand what you are saying , but did you know that constitutionally you don't need the licence plate on you're private vehicle and you don't need that thing they call a drivers license. Been proven in the SUPREME COURT 100'S OF TIMES you have an unalienable "RIGHT" to travel anywhere any time un encumbered( Meaning without restrictions ). And before you say that alot of bull !, My 5th wheel RV and my truck don't have license plates , I don't have a drivers license ( Contract with D.M.V. ) . I have been traveling all over the country coast to coast with no problems , and before you keep bitching about the increase learn how to do away with the whole mess and start saving money Legally!
