Is this the case when I come over?
If you're one of those illegal aliens (60% of californians are) then your license is free.

Im not sure what the percentage is but its not 60%. I do know ca is LOADED with illegals though. The democrats in the foul legislature love them. I bet they never had them as neighbors though. I have some yrs back & never again.

I'm confused. if i bring cars from Canada, I understand that I need to register them in DMV California in 20 days to avoid penalty, but to get SSN, I have to wait at least 4-6 week. So, even in theory I cannot do it (same regarding driver license).
Is anyone knows if for first couple of months, I can drive my car with Ontario plates and license (like tourist). And go to DMV after I get SSN???

First of all, get an international driving license based on your UK driving license. Usually someone can drive for the first 3 months with an international driving license based on a foreign one when making a permanent move. In California, you will have to do written & road tests in order to get a local California driver's license (probably within your first 3 months there).
