But,doesn't he make perfect sense? The politicians saddle us with all of their social engineeing projects and the little guy/girl has to pay for it.
Give the politicos some of the grief!!

I posted another thread like this on both the SF & LA threads. But releasing criminals is absolutely crazy. Times are truly about to get crazy and more violent here in CA. What can be done about this?

we have major high secrity prisons in CA. san quinten & others. so overcrowding was bound to be a big issue. those prisons are full of the biggest bad asses & gang bangers you could ever imagine. ones like the mexican mafia (la eme) in LA operate from the prisons and have 40,000 members walin the streets in LA.

Not that one instance proves a point but this does raise eyebrows:

"...two people, Rianne Celine Theriault-Odom, 27, of North Hollywood and Nathaniel Marquis Petrillo, 22, of Reseda, suspected of torching a bikini dancer outside a Tarzana nightclub were arrested Monday afternoon...

Petrillo had just been released from jail, having served a fraction of his one-year term ...Neither court records nor officials could explain his early release. "

This is a perfect example of what can happen when you release criminals back into the general population.

The expanded prison population due to jacking up sentences for nonviolent crimes, especially nonviolent drug crimes, ISN'T social engineering? Not to mention that the California Correctional Peace Officers Association has had far more of a negative effect on CA than any other union by far, including the teachers' unions (which I am not particularly fond of due to their opposition to charter schools)
