I hate it, and it is why I much prefer Ohio weather over the "great" California climate.

It gets really dirty/dusty around here over the long dry season, without the rain to help clean things off.

Sacramento's air quality can be lacking. Air quality in the Bay Area is a million times better. I enjoy those stereotypical sunny California days with the cool sea breeze. It'll never rain on my picnic, hiking, basketball, beach, or any outdoor activity in the summer. i like that.

For what its worth, I loved June Gloom when I lived in Orange County. At least on those days you knew the temperature wouldn't go above 80 if the Marine Layer stuck around until around 10am or so.

No way! I hate rain! I welcome the endless hot non-rainy summer days. Heck - for that matter, we don't really get much rain in winter either in my area!

I definitely miss the rain. Water- we need it, plants need it, it sustains life. This artificial world we've created by hauling in water from the Colorado river is just not a long-term solution. Add to that the fact that folks like things to be "well manicured" and you've got a real problem. You can't irrigate and have swimming pools forever unless you have rain. Call me crazy, but the lack of decent precipitation throughout the year is one of my top five, maybe even top three, issues with southern CA.

endless sunshine = Boring!
I have really liked the rainy days we've had here in SoCal lately; reminds me of PA.

I live in California but I'm not a native here. I do NOT like the lack of rain in the summers at all. Where I live we generally get our moisture in winter in the form of snow and then it goes right to summer and sunny days, then back to winter. Sure I enjoy the sun but I'd love some good old rain in the summer. We have a lot of dust here and my skin and nose are always dry.
