Hi everyone,

I also posted this on another thread. But wanted it to be easy to find so decided to make it easy by posting new thread. Picks are on home page

http://home.comcast.net/~lesrox/photos.html

Picks without pine trees are closer to home. Pines are about an 1-11/2 hours away. Oak trees, creeks, adobe building, vineyard are close by. The sunset canyon is up by big trees. The park is big trees. Took these pics over a couple of years. Will post more pics when I can.

Izzy

Beautiful pictures! I would love to live in the foothills of the Sierra but after reading some of these posts about how expensive it is to live in California, I'm very discouraged. I used to live in Sunnyvale, Ca., in the Bay Area and moved to Washington State in 1990. I now want to come home but fear that I will not be able to. The Sierra foothills would be my first choice to live. Always felt like 'home' to me whenever I went there.
Once again, I enjoyed your pictures! I will keep watch for more to come.

Izzy,
I love the pictures you shared. When I look at them, I remember the reasons that I like California. If you're pictures were of the traffic and the smog, and all the signs in foreign languages, then you would have reminded me of why I want to leave.

Nora, Have you looked into the Visalia area? It's less expensive per say than LA (with the same amount of smog unfortunately) and near the southern Sierra foothills. Just a thought - as I read your other thread about affordable areas. I guess "affordable" is a relative term.

Beautiful photos Izzy!!

The only way you know you're breathing in Cali. is when you can SEE the air! I live in Fresno, enough said. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

Shannon,

Quite true! I love being on the coast. The air is always so clear, especially in Pismo.
