THey will only reduce services to people who pay taxes. Services to deadbeats, illegals, welfare frauds and others who add nothing of value to society will remain untouched.

Sadly, that's true. I heard once that democracy is like two foxes and a chicken voting on what's for dinner.

I believe the federal government should assist California & it was not a coincident that Schwarzenegger was in Washington DC on election day. California more than pays its share of federal taxes to "receiver" states in the South. And since the economy in California is the 8th largest in the world, it is vital that President Obama devote financial attention on California. Otherwise, if California goes into bankruptcy than the same fate could very likely occur across the nation. It could have inter-national repercussions

Obama should do to the CA legislature what he did to Rick Waggoner (sp?). Oh, wait... that would mean more of the same. Never mind.

Bail California Out?

What a laugh.

California is a donor state when it comes to Federal Taxes. Know what that means?

It means that California sends $290 Billion to DC in taxes BUT we only get back $240 Billion in spending.

THAT MEANS THAT 50 BILLION OF OUR DOLLARS IS SPENT MAKING VIRGINIA, MARYLAND and A BUNCH OF MOOCHER RED STATES RICHER WHILE WE ARE LEFT TO FIND 50 BILLION DOLLARS ELSEWHERE.

Damn anyone who dare tell us that DC is going to bail CA out!

AS IF.

ITS OUR MTHFKNG MONEY TO BEGIN WITH!

In fact I have a better idea.

Why doesnt California KEEP ITS FEDERAL TAXES the next fiscal year. Let DC make due without our $290 Billion. Such a huge amount would wipe out our deficit in one foul swoop.

In fact it seems once we get down to the meat of the issue, the root of our problem is DC. Not Sacramento.
