It really depends on what you want to be in close proximity to and what climate you prefer, i.e. is it more important for you to be closer to Sacramento, Yosemite or the Redwoods/Humboldt? Do you prefer warmer summers with milder winters or would you rather have a somewhat cooler summer in exchange for more snow in the winter? You might also want to spend some time driving on the weekends in your potential new areas. A previous poster was absolutely correct; 50 has become completely congested with tourists during the winter especially.

Default almost 50 acres

there's almost 50 acres in Linden...not quite the mountains but you are on your way...it's a quiet little community not too far from Valley Springs. I'm an agent who knows about the land there.
