Implode is a really vague term but there does need to be a trend reversal of certain things very soon.

This thread is 12 years old. Strangely, California hasn’t “imploded” yet … just suffered a ceaseless stream of doomsday predictions that don’t come to pass.

Tell us all how you feel about the future of California's largest cities? San Fran & LA?

I know Colorado has it's own issues but when you stack the issues and problem side by side California has so Manny more. Jobs are hard to find everywhere now so that is pretty much a wash. I am just not sure that the California that my kids will get is one that they want to live in? I would rather relocate now at 40 than at 55 when my kids are out college and realize that California in morally and literally bankrupt.
I lived in San Francisco for over a decade. I am sure they will miss you when you leave for Paradise

Whatever that poster you were replying to above ended up doing, he probably did that long ago.

That post was from 2009.

Lol … like you care about my opinions other than troll bait.

But I’ll share this: personally, I’m indifferent to what the future holds for any cities … anywhere … around the globe.

Looks like CA is still seen as a very desirable state to live in, given what prices people are willing to pay to live in the state.

Stop with the fear-mongering. California is a million times better than anywhere else.

Yes, CA could use some improvement in regard to crime......but, there are a fair number of states that are worse off crime wise.
CA lost a seat in Congress, not because it lost population.......but, because it not gain as much population as some other states. Lost one seat in Congress.....is that supposed to be a big deal? It is not like CA was a under populated state to begin with........
