Govenor Moonbeam. I love it! Golly this California stuff is good for entertainment. Pitty the poor citizens who will have to follow laws written by that wacko legislature and signed by moonbeam. This stuff gets better every day.

Default Best news for CA since Pres. Obama elected

Excellent, excellent, excellent news! We got rid of Bush. Completely ineffective, unimaginative, unqualified Neanderthal Gov. Arnold is departing. Now, the slimy, immoral, fluff mayor of SF is no longer running for Gov.

CA is moving in a positive direction.

Considering that the "wacko legislature" has been elected by the majority of Californians, I don't think of us as "the poor citizens". If the people don't like their representatives, they can always vote for someone else or use the recall process.

Glad we can keep you entertained, though. L.A. is the entertainment capital of the world.

Jerry Brown is almost 72?! I remember when he was dating Linda Rondstadt and life was fun.....

*sigh*

I'll take an aged moonbeam over yet another Republican whose ideology doesn't fit modern times.

I don't relish the thought of Brown as governor, but he certainly wouldn't be as bad as Newsom. He was a decent mayor of Oakland...certainly better than the joker they have in there now.

But Brown will never stand up to the entrenched liberal special interest groups that are driving the state in the toilet.

i'm somewhat fresh to California politics -- what implications does it have for a Republican governor in a predominately democratic state? I know Gov. Schwarzenegger is a Republican but many of his policies are slanted towards Democratic values. I think this is called a "RINO" ie: Republican In Name Only.

I love these self-righteous, liberal, red herring arguments. How does our current moderate republican governor's idealogy not fit modern times?

Quite puzzled about that statement.

It would of been nice if the gubernatorial race was an actual race. As of now the clear winner is Jerry Brown unless someone better steps in.
