I did not make 1300, or even 900 in the Apr-Jun quarter, but I did in the July-Sep quarter. Anyways though I had a question about the filing deadline being extended. I did not see in there where it said how long it will be extended.
I believe they were talking about end of this year but not sure anymore. If they push it to end of the year and you qualify for UI, you should at least get the initial 26 wks + tier 1 and possiblely tier 2 and FED-ED. But don't count the eggs yet until the bill is signed.

initial benefits: 26 weeks
Tier 1: 20 weeks
Tier 2: 14 weeks
Tier 3: 13 weeks
Tier 4: 6 weeks
FED-ED: 20 weeks

When you add all these up, you get the 99 wks.

Some sites are/were talking about the FED-ED will be reduced to 13 wks but have no idea when that will happen. I guess it depends if the filing deadline will be pushed to end of the year or not.

Hey for those getting unemployement in Cali, I'm just curious - do you actually have to fill out that form with "companies researched/interviewed with", or do you still get the check for sending it in blank?

I.e. do people even bother filling that part out, let alone actually search for jobs, or just mark the checkbox that you searched for work and leave the actual list blank?

Line three on the continued claim form "Did you look for work?" If the BOX comes with an X mark in it then you must fill out the work search section on the flip side of the form. I have not had this box come marked on my continuation form since receiving UI.

When I was receiving FED-ED, the box always marked with X and I need to fill out section B on the flip side of the form. For FED-ED, it is a requirement to document at least 3 jobs applied per week.

Okay so I just got my claim stuff for my unemployment. I did get it, and I was awarded 110 a week(is this before or after the extra 25 a week?) but my maximum is 1525, so will I only get unemployment until I reach my benefit amount, or the full 26 weeks, and if I use up that amount before my 26 weeks, am I eligible for the extensions?

You will get $25 extra on top of the $110.
The $1525 is half of your wage from the quarter they used to calculate your weekly UI benefits.
I do not know if you will get Tier I when $1525 is paid to you, or if you need to wait 26 wks before Tier I kicks in.

So here is another stupid question. Can I mail my unemployment paperwork in another envelope, or does it have to be the one they sent me. I filled out my paper, put it in the envelope and sealed it before I realized that it was in there backwards so the address does not show.
