I'm not going to keep responding to your posts in this way 'cause it's hijacking the o.p.'s thread and i don't want to keep doing that but man !!! .... he's asking for specific advice and needs to find a place where he can feel free to grow and smoke and for a variety of reasons he wants to be in California.
If you don't understand why and how this situation can be a dilemma for someone and what it's like to want the freedom to grow and smoke then fine ... no judgment there ... go and educate yourself if you're interested.
But have some respect.
You do this so often.
Someone is asking for advice and you challenge them and want to argue about what it is they need and want.

Little more detail. Haven't given up completely on computer networking. I got sick at the time I graduated and was in seriously bad health for 5 years. My skills are outdated and I would have to start school all over. I have a lot of medical expenses and I need to be working so that I can have med insurance. Currently I am $200,00 + in debt for medica expenses, I am uninsured, and am not making money to live on with the bad economy. I want to continue my wellness legally, get a fresh start, and find a new dream.
And thanks again for all the advise and help.

200K? Shoot! That's tough! I hope you misplaced the comma and have the right number of zeros there. 20K is a lot less of a burden.

Damn. I'm sorry to hear that, that's going to be tough going that's for sure.
The problem though is that it is generally pretty difficult to find restaurant/bartender jobs that have med. insurance....
I know a lot of people who have their 215 grow licenses, as for the job stuff, it's a crap shoot.
