Pensions are nice too, I get my out of state pension which helps me to eat out in restaurants in this state of great restaurants.
Who are you going to find to whine about when I move? Its fun to see that I'm so under your skin that you reference me constantly in discussions I'm not even part of.

Yes, your moniker provides me with a great deal of amusement. If I called myself EscapeCalifornia, within a few month it would be EscapedCalifornia.

Yours should be, stillhangingaroundCalifornia.

I respect people that put their feet where their words are. I don't respect people who put empty words out there.

Basically, when one says one thing, but does another, that is referred to as hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is something I don't have much respect for.

Its called planning. Have you ever heard of it? Or do you just do whatever stupid thing enters you tiny little mind?

Planning?

Join Date: Apr 2007

Today's date, January 2010.

31 months and still planning.

We decided after looking at all the alternatives, and other states, to move to California, because of all the advantages California has. We made that decision in February 2007, took early retirement, sold our house, built the new house in 9 months Hauled all our stuff down, weekly trips for 6 months, and moved in by Thanksgiving 2007.

Hard to figure why it would take 31 months plus. If I hated a place enough to call myself Escapewhatever, but was still there three years later, I'd either be incarcerated and waiting to get out, or, not real motivated.

So where are you headed that takes years of planning for?

Having a lifetime of savings and equity in a house helps. We had neither. You have no idea where we were in the process when I registered here and what goals we've had to accomplish before being able to undertake a move out of state without having anyone but ourselves to rely on. You're real good at making assumptions. Mind your own business and quit talking about me when you have no idea.
