Hello All -

A pleasure to be apart of a great Forum. Thanks to the Moderators and Administrators for approving my registration.

About Me: Born/raised in small town Florida's east coast. Real estate manager/owner since 1990. Sold all my properties including my own home, my Corvette and most all my material possesions 6 months ago. I am semi-retired since 2008. 44 years old. No kids. Divorced. Don't want kids. Don't want marriage. Recently broke up with 3 year GF. I've lived and traveled a lot last 10 years mostly South America and Europe. I currently live in extended stay Hotel in Miami. Back the 90s, I lived in Los Angeles.... enjoyed my time in SoCal but was always on the verge of living on the street due to my unstable job(s). I lived in Spain and South America off and on last few years. I work from my Laptop so can live anywhere. I'm financially in good shape but I do live on a budget. Looking to enjoy life and pursue new friends, new hobbies and old passions. Seeking to settle a bit and buy a small Condo.

Southern California or South Florida? (location details please)

Opinions and feedback appreciated in advance.

Phew, glad they approved your registration ... it's difficult to get into this exclusive on-line club.
It would be helpful if you provided some more details about the kind of community you're looking for, whether or not you want/need to be on the coast and how much you can afford for either renting or buying.

I'd take CA over FL any day, but that's just me .... plus I'm a native Californian, so I may be just a tad biased.

Even without the bias of being a native Californian, I, too, would take CA over FL any day. Of course, that also goes for a large number of other states.

That's what I was thinking Nice to see at least 2 or 3 people in the state of California who welcome new residents.
