How about this for worst case scenario; Brown and Newsom both win. Moonbeam & Sleaze, what a pair to draw to. Yeah, pair of deuces. If these guys get in, then California will really have a self fulfilling death wish.

And don't forget Kamala Harris for AG! A trifecta that's truly a match made in Heaven, except for anyone with an ounce of common sense, that is. That means they'll likely all win.

And California continues to pick up speed as it circles the drain

If Newsom is the Democratic nominee he is just handing the race to the Republican. There is no way he can win, no matter how balanced the SF budget is.

Balanced? You must not have heard about what is happening in San Francisco. No balanced budget there.

The SF budget has a projected $522 million deficit for the budget year starting July 1.

Newsom just issued layoff notices last week to 15,000 SF city employees.
15,000 S.F. workers given layoff notices

The SF employees who were given notice have been told they can apply back for their jobs but at fewer hours (only 37.5 hrs/wk instead of 40) and lower pay.

Interesting to watch CA politics. For some reason it makes me think of that repo show on TV with all those sleasy people.

But does it really matter? The real action right now is in DC. If Obamacare becomes law the entire country will be fundanemtally changed forever. I doubt that a dozen Ronald Regans could save us.

Up until now, almost everyone has assumed that Gavin was going to be his partys nominee for LG in November. Not so fast, he is facing a tough primary challenge. Janice Hahn has name recognition, has picked up several name endorsements, and will run a strong campaign. She does not have the radical image and scandal issues that Newsom has, and will appeal to liberals that do not care for him, and to moderates. Not a slam dunk for the SF mayor.

I'd like to see him disappear.
Don't worry, so would alot of the rest of us who are still sticking around. He's an embarrassment to SF.
