OK, this is not intended as another "immigration" thread, or as an opportunity for folks who don't even live here to start bashing the state.

But much as we may enjoy living in California, no place is perfect, and there are always gonna be some "quirks" that we may find annoying. What sorts of things bother you here, especially the ones that seem kind of "unique" to the state?

For me it's probably 75% housing costs, 20% dysfunctional government, 5% everything else. When I lived in SoCal, traffic and air pollution were big problems as well; in the Bay Area, not so much.

Idiotic Sports Fans

Gotta love when the Laker flags will start popping up again in about 3 weeks if they make it to the Finals!

Housing costs and frivolous taxes. Basically, it's the high cost of living in California.

(LOL)... I know, the "usual suspects" should be showing up pretty soon.... or at least not until they're done ranting on all the current "AZ" threads!

If you think that's bad, have you ever seen the Alabama-Auburn Rivalry in the South? That's like the Hatfields & McCoys, the Civil War and Religion, all rolled into one!!

Inadequate public transit infrastructure in LA is one of my major issues, but they are rapidly working to correct this.

Mainly just Traffic and Housing woes. Also, all the years I lived there, it bugged me how people thought the rest of the world only wishes they could live in CA and that you would die if you ever had to move someplace with weather.
