I think it will be closer than people realize. Also, I understand that Whitman still is ahead of Poizner in polls. Either Whitman or Poizner will lose to Brown [probably by a big margin].

I prefer Whitman, because she is a businesswoman and she knows the economy.California's problem = it is not business-friendly state, she can change that.
Jerry Brown is an usual politician, maybe it's a good politician but I see he doesn't know the economy.
And Schwarzy is just an actor.....

Poizner is a business man also. That never translates well to politics anyways.

The huge problem for Republicans in California is that they must get Democrats or people who vote for liberals to be willing to vote for a Republican.

FYI-That is not a picture of Jerry Brown-its Steve Poizner.

Here is a picture of Jerry Brown and his wife Ann Gust

I was a Meg Whitman fan until she started running those hideous tv attack ads against Steve Poizner.

I would have respected her more had she stayed above the fray. Instead of telling us your opponents, tell us YOUR strengths.

As far as business is concerned, after seeing Jerry Brown in action as Mayor of Oakland and his tireless promotion of the city in an effort to attract and incentivize business, I am convinced that he would be great on the business front as well.

Both Whitman & Poizner have run "attack dog" ads against each other ad nauseum. Glad the primary election is the week after next.
