Hello Everyone...

Okay So...I have been doing an extensive search...Trying to find a city for Myself..My Fiance' and My Daughter to move to in the next 3 to 4 years...I know...I know...it is so far away...But I just want to have all the info that I need so that I am prepared w/ moderate struggle if any at all...I have been looking mostly @ NC...But NC does not offer any job opportunities for my career track which is a Cosmetic Chemist...I am currently in college and I will be graduating in 2013 and would more than likely be ready to move no later than 2014...Via Google...I found that CA has more opportunities in my field than anywhere else and I actually considered CA but it seems as though the cost of living is EXTREMELY HIGH!!! The jobs that are being offered are in...LA..CHATSWORTH..EL SEGUNDO...and CHINO...Does anyone know anything about theses places...Such as...How good are the schools...I have a 3 year..but by the time we are ready to move she will be 7 or 8 and I want her to have a VERY GOOD EDUCATION..Also...How about the cost of living in those areas...as well as the commute...I know that it is hard to say what it will be like 4 years from now but going based on what is happening right now is fine...at least I can get prepared and won't have to worry as much later...Also...What are the laws on PIT BULLS? Will I have to get rid of my dogs..they are both pit bulls and anyone that has pets knows that they are just like family! I know that there is a lot of bad things that are said about this grouping of breed but I have had my pets since birth and they are both 7 now and NEVER had an incident NEVER...I will even be able to provide documentation showing that they are not vicious animals if need be!!! However...Seeing as though CA might be one of the places on my list...I would like to know of some nice parts of town to live in...I am coming from Cleveland,Ohio and I am so sick of the crime...grime...and disgusting neighborhoods...so much so that I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO MOVE TO ANOTHER STATE TO THE SAME THING! Any help/advice is APPRECIATED! Also...My daughter is into DANCE...are there any good ballet programs there...and my fiance' will be going to UTI to be an automotive/collision technician...How lucrative is that business in CA....Again...THANK YOU!

Not far from Chatsworth is a family friendly community called Simi Valley, and imho it would be a good place to start.

Not sure how they feel about dogs. Lots of areas have homeowner's associations and they dictate how many dogs you can have, but in my case, not which breed. All we know about those dogs is they can be biters, so be sure to have lots of liability insurance just in case.
