I have a lifetime lease in an RV cooperative. Those are really good deals, particularly if you like living in a "socialistic" environment.
these folks made their own lot

Any unincorporated county. If you can live on land without the county demanding you use their utilities, you can live in your RV. HUGE number of those people are e-beggars who are too lazy to get a job and support themselves like normal people. They beg for contributions through Patreon, through Amazon affiliate purchases, youtube hits ("Make sure you like, share and subscribe [because it puts money in our lazy pockets]!"], and generally mooch of the rest of the world rather than stand on their own and support themselves. Imposing of friends by parking on their property for months at a time, or worse yet, doing it to family. All in the name of "freedom and independence". The truth is more like "We are lazy and refuse to work because the world owes us a free ride!" I absolutely DETEST people who do that.

When playing on youtube all day (with cameras and computers that someone bought for you) is a "job" the world as we know it is pretty much over with.

I disagree w/ a large part of what you've posted.

Depends which YT channel you watch. Some put a lot of effort in their channels and it comes out as a very professional product. People watch the channels in the same manner as they do television. Advertisers pay for hits. Only makes sense that they get compensated for their artistic work (YT channel owners).

Agreed. These people are literally working - after all it takes that higher level of effort to rise to the level of basically being paid enough compared to a full-time job. People and companies are willingly putting money into these YouTubers' pockets, just for providing entertainment on something that was already interesting to them. There's some money to be made if you know how to work the social media game, and not everyone can hack it.
