Mobile home lots can be bought in resident owned MH park. Not the same.
Many ROC (Resident owned communities) DO NOT sell individual lots, they sell "Shares" of the entire community (Sometimes based on your lot size, sometimes not).
Very tough to find zoning / planning to sell individual RV lots. Most often it is a 'lifetime' lease. (not title / deed held property). Good idea! would be next to impossible to manage shoebox sized 'lot' ownership issues!
rocusa.org is an example of 'cooperative' owned Mobile Home parks. (not individual lot ownership).
Curious what the downside of buying your own lot and using it for a few months out of the year ---usually there are HOA fees, taxes that you have to pay - most have utilities already set up. Was looking at some NC mountain sites to get out away from the FL heat every summer.
I have an acquaintance who owns something similar up in Michigan and can't get rid of it and it almost sounds like he's got a time-share problem.
