How many miles a day do you drive in your RV? (diesel, campgrounds)

On our last 48 day camping trip, we drove 5500 miles. This averages to 116.66 miles a day. More than a few days were a bit over 200 but we stayed in several places for two days. Most days we would amble along stopping at various interesting locations. We would drive around 5-6 hours but only add around 100 miles to the odometer. We are usually never in a hurry to arrive anywhere. We don’t make reservations and if a campground is full, we disperse camp on adjacent public lands.
Longest for me might have been 450 miles, about eight hours (includes stopping numerous times due to too much coffee, water and two large dogs who need to get out and do their thing quite often). However, 400-410 is quite common on a early bases; from my house to Moab UT and then a week later back.
But my trips are primarily regulated by how long I want to keep the dogs confined to the back seat. Female could care less, male starts to get very antsy around 400 miles.
As for me, this 73 year old could probably go 600 miles or possibly more if alone.
Depends on where I am going, but the usual is somewhere around the 400-500 mile range. I have done a number of 750 mile days, those can be brutal, and I make sure I am on the road by around 7am.

With our 25' trailer driving is a lot more tiring than in just a car or truck, with considerably more attention required. I can easily do 10 hours, as much as 600 miles without the trailer, in fact I once drove from Oakland, CA to Spokane WA straight thru in 15 hours (much younger then). When towing I find that 6 hours is enough. Also, I prefer pulling it when light, and limiting to 6 hours means getting ready to roll in the morning and set up for the night is a lot easier than in the dark.

Between locations, I prefer to drive at night (if not scenic). So a day driving can be from 300 - 900 miles. Really chokes me up to pour so much fuel in the 18-20 mpg motorhome, as my diesel cars average 52 mpg and have a 1200+ mile range. (On free home brew fuel).
I use daylight to see places and things and to meet people. My nightly trucking route was 863 miles of Mtns, prairie, and snow. So RV driving is pretty trivial.
