I live some 300 miles west of the epicenter and I felt the tremor for almost 30 seconds.
The epicenter was about 30 miles north of Ottawa, 5.1 magnitude earthquake.

Felt it here in Vermont.
I could almost swear I felt a tremor a couple nights ago, but I guess it was just me?lol
At least it's not just me this time, and I have my 2 Cats as witnesses.
Hubby was on the road driving at the time..the rate he drives he wouldn't know it probably lol.
Pretty intense earthquakes feel like trucks driving by? Intense.
I have felt a few, once it felt like a train rumbling by (except we didn't live anywhere near railroad tracks! ) and another time there was this huge "bang" noise, then rumbling. Pretty freaky!! It's a pretty neat phenomenon (provided it isn't wrecking your house or swallowing you up in a gaping hole!).
I was having a meeting when it happened and I felt nothing at all!!
