I suppose this is move of a rant then anything but you know what gets me mad is Mohawk natives in Ontario blocking highways and trains. I know they didn't do it for long but all this does is make Canadians mad and doesn't help their cause. In BC Natives don't protest much and the Nisga have a treaty on the go and others are in the process. If I was the police I would throw that organizer in jail for a couple years or just calculate the money lost and get it from the band if they supported him. Now Before I get constantly called a racist, I am not, I just think laws are for everyone (including Natives). I'm not sure if this is in the right thread but what do others think?

I am not impressed either. By the way, I have met some Natives that are very racist as well. Basically, It's not fair to muck up other people's peace and welfare. It's not a one way street.

Default unfair conditions

There are a lot of problems of reserves all over Canada, and I understand what they want, its only fair. The only issue I have a problem with it illegal protests and blockades, where they bring negative attention to the problem. So now whenever papers report protests across Canada they are going to focus on that small group of people causing trouble, instead of focusing on reform and all the peaceful protests that happened. To me is just seems counter-productive.
