Anyone have any opinion/s or experience with getting a Labour Market Opinion, and using private firms for assistance? My partner would really like to help a unemployed friend move from the U.S. to Canada to work in a sales position in a construction related industry. I don't see it as being that easy because we have no family ties, etc. My understanding of the LMO is that my partner would have to prove to HRDC that there are no Canadians capable of filling this sales position, and based on what others have said on this forum getting here doesn't sound like a simple 1-2-3 you are in, process. Your feedback is most welcome. Thank you.
