The USA is like the wild west. There are shootouts on every corner, and everyone has a gun. The good thing is, if you have a problem with someone, you can challenge them to a duel with pistols. However, if you don't want to risk injury or death in a duel, you can just shoot the person.
Once you are a citizen of the US, you will be issued a free gun. But don't point the gun at someone without the intention of firing it, or else you will likely be shot.
If anyone is bothering you while on your property, you are allowed to shoot them first, and ask question later. This includes salesmen.

Good point. I would like to visit the Middle East, but I am rather fond of my head, and would not like it to be forcefully removed. However, since I am in the US, and in constant battle with armed guerrillas everyday when I leave my home, I may be able to survive.

so here there is not much freedom as in canada
They have knives in Canada, so be careful!
They even have rocks and sharp scissors, but very few people run with them.
