Welcome to the Canada chat thread - your very own off-topic chat thread -- there are no topics to stay on and no structure and it doesn't have to be about Canada...

The Terms of Service (ToS) still apply (except for the off topic part).

Uummm .... will we be able to have separate topics in here or will it be one on-going thread?

This is a free for all as far as topics go - nothing is off topic!

It also gives me a place to move posts from other threads that are seriously off topic but still a good discussion! I am in the UK and in a different timezone than most of the Canada gang, so sometimes when I get up in the morning there is a whole huge world-changing discussion that evolved while I slept and it would be nice to enable the continuation of that somewhere (of course it would be preferable if people would just start a new thread, but hey, I am a realist - so now there's a place for the yammering to continue!

Morning Jambo! Is it cold where you are? We had our first snow here yesterday 0.25 cm Then it blew away

I dont know where the cold went this winter in Montreal but its February and i'm still waiting for winter to start, with temps remaining around the freezing point i'm getting by with just jeans,Tshirt and a hoodie, havent had to bring out the parka\s and skidoo boots yet. we've had a bit of snow so far but not enough to cross country ski yet. I could get used to this global warming effect

Just found out where our winter went

I'm dating a Canadian chick (we live about 15 miles away from each other on opposite sides of the border), and I may move in with her in BC!
Learning more about the country, which I might call home

I'm taking my in laws over the river to the Olive Garden for lunch tomorrow. I'm hoping there is no mass exodus to the USA tomorrow for superbowl Sunday. I hate bridge lineups!!!
