Hi guys,
We are an Italian couple, that right now is living in London UK. We are planing (or try) to move to Halifax or Toronto and thus we would like to have some tips. Our main concern is about nursery, we have a toddler, he is 2 years old and unfortunately here in London is impossible to find an affordable nursery. The average price is around 800-1000 pound per month, quite expensive indeed. We would like to now how is the system working over there, are there any public nurseries or kindergarten? and are the cities child friendly? is it easy to go out and about using public transport whit a buggy?
Thank u in advance for the help.

(I am a researcher in pharmacology so I am looking some places with Pharmaceutical company or Universities, any advice is more than welcome also about other cities)
