I started a similar thread in the city vs city forum in the United States section but thought we might miss a lot of people who only stay in the Canadian forums. Since I'm moving this summer, and may consider spending part of the year elsewhere in Canada or the US, I thought it would be a good idea to see how cities compare.
You can compare a Canadian and US city or just Canadian cities, for example: "If you like Nelson, BC then you'll love Asheville, NC because it's also got that hippie granola vibe, is in the mountains but is bigger and has more resources."
There's no right or wrong answer. Everyone likes different things and holds certain things more important than others, so it should be interesting to see the comparisons and their reasons!
