Does that sound right to You? That's the power the RCMP has... They have the right to reclassify anything weapon at any time without authorization from the Government or people.
Yet, Stephen "If elected I will repeal Bill C68" Harper, with his majority government no less, refuses to do anything about this.

In his 2002 leadership campaign, Stephen Harper promised to recommit the Conservative Party to: "...repeal Bill C-68 and replace it with a firearms control system that is cost effective and respects the rights of Canadians to own and use firearms responsibly."

He lied.
