OMG do we need reform at the CRTC. They've become little more then running dog lackeys of the Canadian telecommunications oligarchy.

thanx for posting that.

Rogers : 80 % throttling. Bell: 77 % That's outrageous. How can they get away with that? I couldn't find the original data but from that article, Rogers and Bell in Canada are by far the worst of the internet providers of any of the countries mentioned in terms of throttling. I wonder why the consumers are not complaining. That is one complaint I have about Canadians --- they are not insistent enough about getting good service.

My question though, being quite unfamiliar with the CTRC and what it does----how can the CTRC control how much the internet providers throttle torrents?
