You act like an expert about the U.S but in reality it's all ignorance.
But she's absolutely right about that and by your very own posts and your denial you show you're part of the anathema. And she missed out the south vs. the north and the east vs. the west, and the rich vs. the poor, etc., etc.

She may not be an expert about the US but nobody needs to be an expert to recognize the contemptible loathing that so many Americans have for their fellow Americans. This sheer hatred that so many enclaves of this and that have for each other enclave of this and that is incomprehensible to most Canadians. And it isn't happening just now, it dates back to the inception of the country and your making enemies of your own selves has been going on non-stop throughout the history of the country. There is nothing united about the United States of America and it seems like there never has been. Not only has that in-fighting and hatred for each other been nurtured within the confines of the country, it's been extended outwardly towards the rest of the world.

Canadians don't dislike Americans, they just don't understand Americans' unhappiness with themselves. Americans dislike Americans more than anyone else does and they dislike the rest of the world too.

How can people in other countries have any abiding love for a nation of people that hate themselves so much as well as disliking the rest of the world?

Yeah; that was certainly evidenced within this earlier thread "Canada vs America" started by an American in an attempt to compare standards of living and life quality index of the two countries and care to guess how it ended?

It was closed with an American calling another American a troll for posting similarily inane nonsense such as yours about Canada.

//www.city-data.com/forum/canad...-vs-usa-7.html

You also featured within that and many other threads comparing the two, USUALLY originated by Americans in an effort to learn more about a foreign country.

How many threads are started by Canadians in a desire to learn more about the U.S of A by comparison? Could it possibly be that we already know more than we or anyone else would desire to about your country?

I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone from down there can allude to Canadians or any other nationality for that matter, not "knowing anything about the U.S." when EVERYONE in the world is inundated with your diaper changing on a constant basis by your MSM making damn sure we're filled with angst over the latest nonsense over everything from the Kardashians to your congress wanting to be exempted from a law they enacted to make you all comply with the ACA while there' is a law stating irrevocably that "Congress shall pass no laws that Congress shall be exempt from".

C'mon get real here, comparing apples to apples regarding everything from your education system to tourism models of your average citizen; is it any wonder the rest of the world on average knows light years more about America than the reverse?

Interesting, another expert i see....
Just met a nice family from Arkansas who were up here for a vacation, they were great people.
and i've been down to the deep south many times, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, etc... and they we're all friendly to us. Southerners we're probably some of the most friendly, outgoing, optimistic people ive ever met. Going to Tennessee/North Carolina next year and i can't wait.

Remember you don't live here, and you really don't know what you are talking about.
If we all hate eachother than you guys are all eskimos living in igloos.

Americans generally love Canadians though. Americans "hatred" of Canadians is really just sarcasm. Tucker Carlson : "Canada is a sweet country. It is like your retarded cousin you see at Thanksgiving. You sort of pat him on the head. You know he's nice, but you don't take him seriously."
At first i thought this was just stupid.
Now i see what Tucker Carlson is coming from.

And your news agencies cannot or will not report accuracy about domestic affairs?

They feel the need to report inaccurate stuff to the rest of the world why exactly? You won't watch them unless they present inane and nonsense in a continuous effort to amuse and entertain you rather than educate and inform you?

Once again your opinion of yourselves is even lower than your opinion of other countries which is the point many on here have been trying to make to no avail.

You also totally ignored my reference to both your education failing to educate you about other countries unless it's the accepted "socialist" nonsense and your tourism models of the average American being less interested in foreign travel to learn whereof they presume to speak about in the first hand.

I'm talking about life in the United States.
CNN reports on important stories going on all around the 50 states,
sinkhole in Florida, kidnapper runs to Idaho, San Diego mayor is sexually abusing women, stop in frisk in New York City.
Does this mean every American is getting kidnapped dodging sinkholes and getting stopped and frisked by NYPD everytime we walk out the door.
No.
Our life in America is very similar to your life in Canada.

Seems any Canadians giving an opinion on the topic title are getting taken to task for their opinions,Makes for a rather pointless topic from a Canadian perspective..

Trimac How is the general attitude toward Americans from the Australian perspective?
