BC is only liberal along the coastal areas and in a few small hippie towns in the Kootenays, the rest of the Province is about as conservative as rural Alberta.

I dont think it really makes a difference.
everywhere you go your going to have jerks.
and everywhere yu go your going to have nice people as well.
you should look at how you want to live first, what you want to be around.
not so much toward gay friendly neighbourhoods, because like cold canadian said,
you wouldn't be able to notice which one is more gay friendly.

Default Indifference

I would have to say that most canadians are indifferent to gay males...the most conservative province of all would be Alberta... Albertans tend to be very conservative....as a province as I don't want to generalize too much

I live in Alberta and while we may elect the conservatives to office in regards to politics that doent mean we are conservitive when it comes to racial, sexual oreintation etc.
alberta is a business province nad is why many people vote conservitve becouse they are softer ob business tax etc

yes i do agree though that it is hard to say one area is more friendly than another

On another thread, a poster stated that Calgary was the most American of cities.

Enough said?

Default Halifax?

Where does Halifax stand on the gay-hostile (0)/gay-friendly (10) scale?
