I want to be a Veterinary Technician and Canada has a two year program in Ridgetown, Ontario for at least $3000 cheaper than the one closest to me in Buffalo.

Can I move there under a student visa for two years and come back to the US?
Would it be worth it expense-wise?
I have some pre-existing health conditions, would that prohibit me from going to college in Canada?

The answer to would it be worth it expense wise..
It's a bit hard.

Make a list of what your expenses would be..
apartment
transit

etc..

Then look up things in online places like online classifieds. online fliers for grocery stores etc..(common Canadian ones are Sobyes, Price Chopper, Food basics)
If you will be driving gas prices will be higher in Canada. Right now in WNY it's just over $4.00 a gallon. In Canada it's around 4.85.

This site is used to find the cheapest price nearby. Ontario Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in Ontario
It will give you the Canadian Dollar / liter price. You can multiply that number by 3.88 for a rough conversion to USD/Gallon.

Add up the expenses you estimate for a month for your 2 options. and match it up against the $3000 in tuition savings.

oh... and that site is about Canada's rules about entering and staying. You should check on the US site for returning with belongings , etc..
