When I looked out our front door window this morning, I saw toilet paper hanging from the tree in the front yard of our neighbors across the street. This was not an act of meanness, mind you, but something friends do to each other, often with parents aiding and abetting. It's called "yard rolling" or "TP"ing. Is this "friendly prank" common in Canada? It is a tradtion around here, alas!
LOL. Any "friend" that did an act of vandalism like that to my property is no friend of mine. With friends like that, who needs enemies?
No, TP'ing is not common here where I am. What is common in this neck of the woods is taking somebody else's shoes, tying the shoelaces together and then throwing the shoes up over a hydro or telephone line like bolas so they wrap around the line.
While I havn't seen it more than maybe 3 times here, it's definitly a known prank. Can't say it would be for funzies though, between friends. It would primarily be, just being a turd.
Some people have way too much time on their hands.
