Btw, do we know whether part of the money that is being collected by the Canadian Government through various forms of taxation and fees, ever reaches the UK/Queen's coffers?
I am thinking that since Canada (let's say without Quebec) could be seen as a hidden form of colonization (because otherwise the property taxes wouldn't be that high - that is, it's like we pay for the right of using a land, which is not in fact ours but belongs to the Queen) - the Queen of England somehow has to make money on us.
Would it be possible to get hold of more data in that respect? Or I'm too paranoid and in fact Canada is completely independent financially from UK, that is, it doesn't have a relation of servitude to the UK "colonists" ? Isn't the Queen grabbing money from property taxes, GST, or the sale of other monopolistic resources such as Salt, tobacco or alcohol?

Wow, really? My impression is that she made a tidy sum of pocket money from selling souvenirs like this one (I inherited one plus a box of old vinyl records).
I could live with that, but I'm greedy, I'd want some side orders of Alaska, St. Pierre et Miquelon, Greenland and Iceland along with the U.K.
Quebec would have to stay too.
.
Gonna be waiting a long time for that side order of Alaska it's all mine!
