Its been that long since the big migration that the scottish roots/culture will be all diluted down.

Newfoundland is mostly English (West Country) and South East Ireland. But it is about 5% Scottish. The most Scottish part of Canada, unsurprisingly, is Nova Scotia (New Scotland).
