Thanks for posting that, it's an interesting list. But all the top countries are bloody expensive, and except for Austria and the Netherlands, they all have horrible Arctic winters. The problem with reports like this is they pick the criteria, and they're all these politically correct virtuous ones.

I don't really care about jobless youth, confidence in government (they all suck), or "social network support". "Acceptance of diversity", in which Canada ranks as #1, is of no importance to me whatsoever. On the other hand, climate is of utmost importance --- I don't want to live in a place with Scandinavian weather, no matter how low its homicide rate or level of income equality.

Also cost of living and cost of housing isn't on the list. For me a low cost of living and affordable housing are of paramount importance and trump just about everything on their list of indicators. And Canada is expensive.
