I saw a few minutes of it last night. Since it's been on up there a few months, is it anything to get excited "aboot"?
P.S. I notice one of the stars is American-born Lauren Holly, who is now one of you!

I watched it last night (Monday) on ABC so I don't know why they keep advertising "Series Premier Thursday 9/8c". I'm not a fan of flashbacks but it was better than I expected. I was surprised to see that 13 episodes have already aired in Canada. Nice shots of Vancouver. I haven't been to Vancouver but I can't figure out how she can afford a house with such a nice view of the harbour and Canada Place. Canada Place seemed impossibly close.

How do seemingly unemployed or underemployed people on TV live in spacious apartments and change clothes more than once over the course of 22 minutes?
I don't know if your statement is correct. I am glad another Canadian show is being broadcast in the US, but it's too bad that it's another cop show from the sounds of it (as if we need another police procedural ).
If Americans watch Canadian-made shows but Canadians don't, what does that say about us?
Perhaps that you don't really care about the origin of a show, provided that it appeals to you and does not appear too alien.
There are actually Canadians who are almost obsessive about figuring out if a show or movie is Canadian (because many as you know are made to ''appear'' American), and who use this is a filter for not watching them - once they determine something is Canadian.
The Americans are actually broadcasting something Canadian (instead of the other way)!
National pride for a country of 35 million~!
Meh. The rest of the time the Americans are broadcasting shows and movies directed by Canadians and starring Canadian actors and comedians.
They're American shows, however.
