Going to Montreal in July and I am an American guy born and raised in Texas who is of Indian heritage. Have not faced any racism here in Austin and have had a great time. Not too familiar with Canada but I have read in some places that they really dislike Indian people there due to recent immigration.
Do Indian men face issues by law enforcement or in the bar/club scenes there.
And I know the history of this forum has some guy coming back asking where in the world he can land White women, taht guy isn't me, I am trying to get an idea of my trip.
Not sure where you got the idea that Canadian people dislike Indians but its completely off. This is a very tolerant country and immigrants will soon (if not already) comprise the majority in the big cities. You will not be treated any differently as an Indian-American person in Canada than the way you are treated back home in Austin, I can promise you that. Heck, saying your from Austin and not from another part of Canada could probably make you more interesting. Just relax and enjoy yourself because Montreal is fun in the summertime.

No one will mistreat you for being indian, but don't think you will get hot women either, many of them are racist in a subvert manner. None of them will swear you out to your face, they will even be polite but they won't go home with you either.

.
Having worked with many Indians in the hospitality industry, I get the impression its the other way around, Many (not all) Indians seem to dislike Canadians and anyone else who is not of their religion/culture.
Hey guys that are still responding, OP's been banned if you haven't noticed. He's the same guy that comes in a few times a month and posts the same question over and over again
