hi there,I need some advices about my situation.i am an international student who graduated and haved worked full-time,but now part time.I'm in toronto since 2001. I live with my Canadian bf since 2003. But we never have joint account or paid bill together. We are planing to marry this summer or spring.but he's currently unemployed and will be for a while. Will I be eligible to apply for permanent resident? Thank you in advance

The best advice I can give you is to consult Canada's Citizenship & Immigration website:


Immigration is a complicated process and it's hard for someone to give you specific details unless the circumstances are the same which is unlikely as most "How to immigrate to Canada?" threads usually get very little replies.

Browse the website and look for a number to call is the best I can say.
