Oxford Dictionary - Spiel: spiel - definition of spiel in English from the Oxford dictionary

German Dictionary - Spiel: dict.cc | spiel | Wörterbuch Englisch-Deutsch
Spiel oder Spiel = gegen Spielen in Deutsch, nicht ein "Rollengedicht" oder ein "Monolog" Vielleicht koennen Sie Mein Kampf kaufen - Gratuliere, das ist dein neu Woerterbuch.

"Shpeal" is a slang in Yiddish that distinguishes from das Spiel oder spielen in German, which has very different meanings lol

We all have our bigoted views. Your unjustified negative attitude towards Quebec is a good example.

You are putting words in my mouth again. My attitude towards Quebec is mainly directed at certain parties' political stances. Having a political difference in opinion does not mean one is bigoted. It has nothing to do with the rampant racism which the banned poster was trying to spread on this forum.

This is the one time I agree with PBeauchamp.

If having a political stance different from that of BQ or PQ = bigotry, then I don't have anything else to say. I have nothing against the good people of Quebec, or Francophone culture and language (I support all the strict language laws and their effort to preserve and enhance Francophone culture).

No, it is just that many of the things you say about Quebec are ignorant and display a deep lack of understanding for how Canada works.

I happily admit that I do not have full knowledge on how Canada works or on how Quebec works. That is why I am here to read and learn, and I try my best to maintain an open mind while posting my input. If there is anything I said that has incorrect information, I happily invite you to point them out and correct me at the earliest possible time. I apologize if my responses may seem uninformed or ignorant to you. No one is born with full knowledge and information - one has to start from somewhere. Many thanks.

Haar; there are many Canadians reading these threads that would opine your grasp of how both Canada and Quebec "works" is pretty good. We might not agree with you on all points but the use of the term "ignorant" in and of itself would not enter the discussion, but hey; that's just one more of the little nuances of how Canada vs Quebec "works".
