Relocating - Please Help (apartments, for rent, townhomes)

Hi All,
I need some advise/help on apartments/townhomes/house on 1-2bedrooms for rent in the area of Etobicoke...I sure know they are more places out there than advertised and I'm sure locals would be able to help me out, my wife and I are moving from the US to settle down in Canada.
PS: If there are any other areas besides the above mentioned please advise as I would be working in Mississuaga, thanks

If you're going to be working in Mississauga, why not consider living in Mississauga? Brampton and Oakville might also be options for you.

You could try the online Classifieds section of both Toronto newspapers, the Toronto Star, and the Toronto Sun.

Oakville is the town most expats live in. And FYI for your wife--there is an American Woman's Club there which is quite active and is a good chance for you both to make friends.

Oakville is a bit more high-end. Many of the people who live there are those who work in the tallest buildings of downtown toronto, and they usually habe the biggest offices if you understand me. If your looking for cheap rent, go for Rexdale (in Etobicoke)
