Sunny and clear blue skies, a hockey rink at 9000 feet of altitude in the Rockies and a Mountie coming in from the wing to try to score on the goalie. Can it get anymore Canadian than this ?

Read the story, this photo is now the most tweeted item in Canada, today.

Enjoy.

Brusan :

Thanks. The photo is legit, as is the RCMP member.

The location was built for a Molson's Canadian TV shoot, and the local AA hockey team rented a chopper to ferry some guys up for the day, for a little shinny. The Staff Sgt approved the use of the serge, and the photo is going be used, for some official RCMP promotion, in the future.

Nice colours, eh ?

Jim B.

Every once in a while an individual RCMP constable does something that garners them more positive public image than all of the organized photo-ops could ever hope to.

Anyone remember this one:

After a short initial bit of competent fret work with the guitar he moves to the drums.
