The English are attractive? The Dutch? Japanese? Irish?
The only explanation is that only 20 countries are been ranked, and undoubtedly by Caucasians. In the world? considered by whom? Did they ask people in Asia or Africa?
It says Jessica Simpson is attractive. OK, that explains.
Rather than "Americans are 'most attractive' people in the world, poll finds", it should specifically say "A survey among Caucasians in western countries show THESE people think Americans are most attractive based on their knowledge in the entertainment business".
I seriously don't know what the media keep using the word "world" when they are only talking about 20% of it. It happens all the time.
It's not an international survey. It's a survey of 5,000 globe-trotting "Britons". They're the ones who ranked themselves 7th, and better-looking than the French.

Lol not a all, I usually visit the Canadian forum to learn things about you guys. Some threads such as the French immigration to Quebec or others regarding the differences between Canada vs the rest of the anglosphere are quite interesting. But this one I found childish. Think about it, is it really that important what others think of you? Is Canada a shy and insecure sixteen year old that craves constant validation, from others to feel good about its own image? Is it?
This list is rubbish. There is no difference in appearance of Anglo Americans, Anglo Canadians, Anglo Australians and British people. We are all the same people for petes sakes. Too many people have watched a lot of Hollywood movies if they think all Americans look like those actors and actresses. Also we all have preferences on what makes one attractive. Someone who likes dark skin and exotic looks will prefer Latin Americans or Mediterranean people, Those who like Blond and blue eyes will prefer Scandinavians and Russians, some will prefer Oriental people or African people. There is NO WAY to pick out a nation with the most attractive people. Ridiculous
