My parents told me that I am moving to British Columbia (Vancouver) next year. I am really freaked out. I'm 15 years old and I am terrified about being bullied, I'm just so scared about being bullied and not fitting in. I'm gay and that just makes it all worse. Also, people told me that teens in BC tend to smoke a lot of weed and do drugs, that also kind of terrifies me because I don't want to be peer pressured into doing that.
I'm not generalizing or stating facts, I'm just saying what I read online. From what I heard Canadians are great people and I shouldn't be scared about being bullied, so you never know.
Are bullying, homophobia and teen drug use frequent there?
Thanks
