I did not either. It was tempting to do so, but there are so many details to our gun control laws that I would be unable to explain them in a few paragraphs. Add that to the attitudes our respective countries have towards gun use, and ... well, let's just say that I have better things to do than to debate Americans on Canada's gun control laws.

I'll keep an eye on it, just for fun, but I won't participate.

Very sad to hear this on the news this morning. I am in Florida. The United States is mourning with you.

.
Tempting though

It's the same old story. They seem to have no ability to look at the bigger picture. Canada has a shooting, so to them that's all the proof they need, that gun control does not work.

I've gotten into these conversations before and it's futile.

Sending thoughts, love, and prayers from Pennsylvania. May the injured victims have a smooth recovery, and may those who are not with us rest in peace.

Must comment on the expressions of sympathy and the "class" being shown by our southern neighbours who've posted on here.

Very much appreciated folks.

A few of them can seem a bit crazy sometimes but overall I think we have to agree that we couldn't ask for better neighbours.

I also live in the US (Tennessee) and I agree with you sentiment. I could not have said it better. Thoughts and prayers for the families of the victims.
